Willie Hampton

Willie Hampton, a formidable athlete standing at 6-1 and weighing 225 pounds, made a significant impact during his high school career at American Heritage High School. His standout performance in 2016 led the team to a perfect 14-0 record and a Class 5A state title, with 71 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, six sacks, and notable defensive plays earning him second-team Florida 5A all-state honors.

Beginning his journey at Oxbridge Academy, Hampton showcased his versatility with 47 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and nine sacks during his junior season, contributing to a 9-3 record. In subsequent years, he continued to excel, earning recognition as one of the nation's top outside linebackers by ESPN and 247 Sports.

Transitioning to collegiate football, Hampton's talent shone at Garden City Community College, where he recorded an impressive 129 tackles, including 15.5 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks. His impactful performance in the Junior College National Championship game solidified his reputation as a standout player. Completing his collegiate career with the University of Buffalo in 2023, Hampton played a pivotal role in their victory at the Camila Bowl game against Georgia Southern, showcasing his unwavering dedication and determination on the field.
